The payment is on a bnsis of 30 cents per vatu: for tho 87,250 eases handled by the association during the first halt of 1927. This volume Is materially above that handled by the association during a corresponding period in any year of the association's life, says Clyde C. Edmonds, general manager. During the first six months of 1921, which was the first year, the association marketed 61,887 cases of eggs. The second year (1925), 56,090 cases were marketed tho first six months, and for the first half of 1926, the volume was 57,752 cases. The big jump in tho volume of eggs marketed for the first half of 1927 presents an interesting study, says Mr. Edmonds. It came during a period when personalities in the egg market were rather pessimistic, with cold storage warehouses holding an unusually large volume of egga and production heavy. The increase comes through more members joining the association during the last few months rather than from heavy increases in production on the part of producers aligned with the organiza- last year. Whether the eggs came from new producers or from increases in flocks of old ones did not alter the problem confronting the association," said Mr. Edmonds. There were just that many more eggs to handle than we had during the same period last year, and we had to study every market and look to every outlet to get the best prices we could for our Distinctive, Safe and Serviceable A UTAH PRODUCT What Utah Makes Makes Utah American Shingles Plus American Workmanship Means Lasting Satisfaction The American employs and pays for highly skilled workmanship.
