The sessions and banquet will be held in the new Hotel Bigelow, Although the magnificent trutfure will not be completed, yet the management has prepared to take good care of the visitors. We extend our heartiest welcome to the visitors and wish them to know the keys of Ogden's famous hospitality is theirs without asking. We are sure the canners will feel that Ogden is their home city, their headquarters and the hub of the intermountain canning industry. Since the early 80's Ogden has been the canning renter of the state and now has a large percentage of the factories of the state. Can-ners we welcome you and hope you will favor ua with the convention each year. CONGRATULATIONS TO ARCHIE BIGELOW AND ASSOCIATES Today marks the opening of the Hotel Bigelow. The work of finishing the structure has not been completed but the opening was hastened to accomodate the convention of the Utah State Cannera association. This was a mark of service deeply appreciated not only by the people of Ogden but by the visitors. It will give the visitors an opportunity to see one of the moat magnificent hotels ont only in ths intermountdin country but the west. We are proud of Hotel Bigelow and wish to extend our congratulations to Archie Bigelow and associates for this achievement. Bigelow, and their children, Archie P. and Florence Jessie Bigelow, (now Mrs. E. I Van Meter) came to Ogden. Shortly after their arrival the Ogden State Bank of March, 1927, next, sprang into existence.
