Getting confused and depressed they are patiently awaiting loving homes where they will he kept safe. Gus is a large, young, round faced male tabby who loves to please anyone who will pay him a little attention. Amazingly though, he was one of many healthy young animals scheduled for euthanasia at a local animal control shelter, simply because his fomier owners were irresponsible and the shelter was full. Recognizing his wonderful and gentle disposition, Wasatch Humane rescued the neutered cat more than two months ago. Gus is just one of several cats who have lived at Wasatch Humane for some time and would make purrfect companions, for seniors as they are gentle, affectionate and like to lounge around most of the time. Usually the adoption fee for altered cats is $45 and $65 for dogs, but Wasatch Humane will discount that fee for the right, permanent home for these special animals. Wasatch Humane and other shelters are seeing an extraordinary number of kittens this time of year. The folks at Wasatch Humane say youve been putting it off, spay or neuter your pets today.
