The voting at the Election shall be by ballot in the form set forth above, which ballots will be furnished by the Board of Education of the Davis County School District to the election officials who, in turn, will furnish them to the qualified voters. There will be no special registration of voters for the Election, and the official register last made or revised shall constitute the register for such election; except that the County Clerk of Davis County will register as provided by law at his office during regular office hours, except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, and except during the period immediately preceding the Election, any person who is or will be eighteen years of age or older and who otherwise will be a qualified elector on the day of the d Election. The County Clerk will make available at the polling places, a registration list or copy thereof listing all registered electors entitled to use such voting places. An absentee ballot will be provided, if requested by an Absentee Voter applicant (as defined hereafter). An "Absentee Voter" who may obtain an absentee ballot is any person who (a) is physically, emotionally, or mentally impaired; (b) will be serving as an election judge or who has election duties in another voting precinct; (c) is detained or incarcerated in a jail or prison; (d) suffers a legal disability; (e) is prevented from voting in a particular location because of religious tenets or other strongly-hel- d personal values; (f) is called for jury duty in state or federal court; or (g) otherwise expects to be absent from the voting precinct on election day. The Absentee Voter may make application in the manner and time provided by law, either by mail or Fax or in person at the office of the Business Administrator of the District at 45 East State Street in Farmington, Utah. The Business Administrator may deliver the absentee ballot by mail or in person to one who personally applies. A "hospitalized voter", as that term is defined by state statute, may arrange for some other person to obtain absentee ballot material from the Business Administrator by complying with the procedures and requirements of pertinent state statutes. NOTICE is further given that on May 13, 1997, that being a day not later than ten (10) days after the Election, the Board will meet at its regular meeting place at 45 East State Street, Farmington, Utah at 5:30 p.m. to canvass the returns and declare the results of the Election. Pursuant to applicable provisions of the Utah Municipal Bond Act, the period allowed for any contest of the Election on the Bonds shall end forty (40) days after May 13, 1997 (the date on which the returns of the election are to be canvassed and the results thereof declared).
