Both girls enjoy cooking and camping and have traveled all over the west to share their love the Dutch oven cooking with other would-b- e cooks. The twins have entertained many spectators as well as fellow contestants with their cooking tal- ents. They have shown that they can stand up to the pressures of competing and can prepare beautiful looking and delicious tasting meals from a Dutch Oven. The girls are proficient at removing their apple pie from the oven and presenting it on the lid of the Dutch Oven without breaking any of the delicate crust of the pie, a feat that requires considerable cooking and handling skill. Dutch Oven Cooking is an activity that involves the entire Johnson family. Bill and DeeAnn Johnson k will be teaching another Dutch oven cooking class beginning on Thursday evening Sept. 5 and continuing on the 12, 19 and 26 of September. Registration for the class is $15 with an additional $20 fee to cover food costs. This class will cover all the basics of Dutch oven cooking from how to buy a Dutch Oven to cooking techniques and how much to prepare for how many. Place this crust in the Dutch oven and set aside. It will take the complete crust recipe to make the bottom crust. Mix sugar.
