Af8, behind the school and to the side of the football field, the cheerleaders are sponsoring the annual bonfire. Prior to the bonfire each student group decorates their own log, to be burned in the bonfire, and it kind of symbolizes the unifying of the school. Thursday is just a day of resting before the big festivities on Friday, the day of the big game. We will start out the day with a luncheon for special alumni from Bountiful High School in days past. At 2:30 we will start our action packed assembly which is to kind of remember decades past and to pump the student body up for the game. The Bountiful Braves will give the Cottonwood Colts something to think about as they see our hot football team on the field, and our fired-u- p student body in the bleachers. Bountiful Highs Homecoming for the year of 1995-9The theme for the week and for the dance is Come Sail Away (song by musical group Styx) and we hope all the activities weve planned will help our school sail away to glory (that was pretty smooth, eh?) Monday night at 7 at the school is the annual Powder puff game, which can be seen for only $1. At this game, the senior girls, coached by the senior football players, had better dominate over the scrawny junior girls and win the football game. Senior boys and junior boys will be acting as cheerleaders, which should be a really cute sight. Tuesday night we will be showing a good flick down at the school, just as a way for students to have a good time. Wednesday night should be a fun night. At 6, the Bountiful High clubs and organizations will parade from Main Street, down 5th South and on to the school where there 6. Saturday is the day of the dance where you can take your special someone, and sail away into the night. The dance, which is only $10 a couple, will start at 8:30 and continue to 11:30 and will be in the fieldhouse. To all those people who havent asked anyone to the dance yet, get your act in gear and make some girls life a lot happier. Remember, the dance is only expensive, if you make it. Were really excited about the week, but it cannot be a success without the support of the complete student body and of the community, so come join us in the festivities. Peace.
