Show "W Thursday McKinlay Kent Stephens McKinlay, 48, Richfield, died October 30, 1982, in St. George. He was born May 18, 1934, Rexburg, Ida., to Archibald and Louiette Stephens McKinlay. He married Jeanne Ence; later divorced. Married Vickie Chatterley, Las Vegas, 1975; divorced. Served in the U.S. army, member of the LDS Church. Survivors: sons, Tim, St. George; James, Salina; Kloyd Terence, Tyi Kay, all Kanab; daughters, Robin, Los Angeles; Trinity Ann, Kanab; several grand- children; brothers and sisters, 0. Robert, A. November we are going on a hay ride with Brownie troops in Richfield and we will have a Lows birthday last Friday night. Juliette Thanksgiving Low was the founder of Girl Scouting here in America, and it is a tradition of Girl Scouts to celebrate her birthday each year. This brownie troop is No. 737 of Aurora with Beverly Farley as leader and Karla Fillmore as assistant leader. Our troop consists of 12 girls ranging from 1st and 3rd grade. has Aurora just organized Girl Scouting and we have 40 girls involved thus far. Any girl from 7 is very welcome to join. Girl Scouting mainly involves, teaching values. Values that make good citizens. In February we hope to have Bill Weaver as a guest speaker to talk to the girls on Safety. In March all the troops in Aurora are going to make baby bibs, then we are going to the hospital to have a tour. We will then leave the bibs at the hospital to be given to all the babies who are born during girl scout week, which is in March. We also hope to have the girls all blood typed then. This is just a portion of what we have planned; and I hope this has given you readers an idea of what Girl Scouting is all about.
