Show Scholarships Seven finalists from North Sevier High School will compete among other finalists from area high schools for honors in the annual Sterling Scholars of Central Utah program April 6 at 8 p.m. in the Gunnison Valley High School auditorium. Winners in the 12 categories will be named in the final judging scheduled Mar. 29 in the Centerfield Ward Chapel. North Sevier High School is one of the few high schools competing in the program that is not represented in more than one category. Finalists from N.S.H.S. are as follows: Valerie Johnson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Johnson, English and literature; Mary Kiesel, daughter of Mrs. Evelyn Kiesel and Gordon Kiesel, speech and drama; Rhett Roberts, son of McKay Roberts, mathematics; Donel Jensen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Lee Jensen, science; Milton Stewart, son of Mr. and Mrs. Deloy J. Stewart, art and art crafts; Paula Harward, daughter of Mrs. Margaret Kiesel and Doug Harward, homemaking; Shanna Anderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Anderson, general scholarship. The Utah Highway Patrol identified the victim as Sherrill Tuft. Sevier County Jail as an intoxicated pedestrian.
