Show School Lunch Week Oct. Nourish Your is the theme of this years National School Lunch Week set for Oct. according to Karen Pace, food service director for Sevier School District. A menu special developed for the ob- servance includes thinly sliced turkey and cheese on a sesame bun, crisp sticks with celery vegetable dip, fried potatoes, chilled fruit mix, milk, and a million dollar cookie. Parents will be receiving invitations to join their children for lunch durnig the week-lon- g observance, Mrs. Pace said. Some schools will be celebrating for a week and a half in order to allow for all paretns to lunch with their children. Lunch will not be served on Friday because there will be only half a day of school.
