Just Stuff by Jan The trains in Europe are a great means of transportation, but, like most things, they do have their moments. After our classes ended of us traveled on the continent for two weeks. We bought Inter-ra- il passes so all we had to do was write down where we were going, get it. stamped at the ticket window, find the right platform and climb on file train. We learned this in France when the conductor came to punch our passes. He looked at once, punched it, then rattled something off in French. Well, none of us spoke enough French to know The conductor finally got through to us that we had to move to another car by drawing a picture of a train, then of the train splitting, then of us walking to another car. took the seat and Amy and I were relegated to the seats in the narrow hallway.
