Show and Kaye Jensen. Redmond News Maijorie Mickelsen Bob Nielson, son of Gary and Marie Nielson, Cedar City, received full SUSC scholarships. He received $420 for fall, winter, and spring quarters. He will major in Elementary Education and mathematics. He is a grandson of Mrs. Reva Sorenson and Henry , Sorenson. Gleave and Velda Peterson returned Wednesday, June 6, from Sidney, Montana, where they three weeks spent assisting in the home of their daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Kris Aase and family. Mrs. Aase (Janet) had major surgery. Enroute home, they visited in Blackfoot, Ida. with Velda s brother, Mr. and Mrs. Terrence Aiken. He had surgery. Byron and Vera Jensen and LaMar and Sonoma Bosshardt took a trip to Park City and Salt Lake where they visited their son-in-la- children and Temple Square. It was their wedding anniversaries they , , were celebrating. Lucille Bird had surgery Saturday, June 9, in the L.D.S. Hospital. She is doing well and will be at her sons, Mr. and Mrs. Ned Christensen in Salt Lake, for a few days before coming home. We send her our best wishes. Mrs. Owen (Elva) Christensen came home Friday from the Richfield Hospital and will be recuperating from a heart attack. Again we wish her well. Mrs. Wallace Poulson had knee surgery at he Utah Valley Hospital recently. She is doing well. Sunday, Wally and went to Heber City. Their family was together for a dinner and to spend -- Fathers Day, and Ar-- ; neldas birthday also. This . was at the home of Dennis and Kathleen Jensen. Kirk Anderson went into the Utah Valley Hospital in Provo Monday, June 11, for surgery. He was released Thursday. His wife, Faye, stayed at her sisters, Mrs. Marie Jensen in Provo, until Sunday. He is doing fine. We send best wishes to him in his recovery. Ar-nel- David Bretz was injured in a mine cave-i- n Wednesday and was taken to the Sevier Valley Hospital in Richfield, where he is in traction. We send him our best wishes for a speedy recovery. Mrs. Kenneth (Emma) Hales and her sister, Mrs. Una Diamond, Salina, took their uncle Oscar Allred, 94, to Provo Monday of last week to keep an appointment with an eye specialist for him. Mrs. Dale (Marlene) Millet had treatment for cancer on her face at the of Utah University Hospital in Salt Lake. She is doing well. We wish her our best for a complete recovery. Mr. and Mrs. Oral Jensen, Spanish Fork, visited Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Peterson. They had come down for the wedding of their niece, Cheryl Jean Jensen and Randall R. Bateman. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Jensen, Salt Lake, were here for it, Jorgensen, Fathers Day. Salina, sen, Price, came Friday and visited J. Arthur Christensen and Burton and Owen and Elva Christensen.
