Show Aurora News 529-352- 5 r or Our little Aurora flock has been on the go. Lots of people doing lots of intereating things and I dont know the half of it, of course. I (when Recently sayrecently, that means not more than a month ago but not last week), Mrs. Donna Anderson went to Las Vegas to visit with her two sons, Rickey and Randy and his wife, Keli Anderson. All three were in a talent show while she was there, and she enjoyed that tremendously. After visiting for 10 days, they brought her back home to Aurora. Last week, she and hubby, Darwin, went by invitation to Tremonton to attend his sons letter-men- s banquet. Austin Anderson had lettered in track last year and did very well in competition. The Andersons enjoyed an extended weekend of sightseeing and visiting before returning home. Another recent happening was the Farm Bureau Farm Festival luncheon at Hotel Utah on the 30th. It was an All Utah luncheon, where ladies from the farms were hostesses to business ladies from the city. Aldena Thompson, Billie Lou Johnson, and Valna Wasden were hostesses from here and report a very fine time. After it was all over, they were to sack, up three large shopping bags of groceries that had been on display for the occasion. That would be one time it would be fun to be left holding the bag. Mrs. Myrtle Harding is visiting with her daughter and family, Dick and Thelma Probert in Scipio. Mrs. Rita Cranston returned on a recent Monday from a Caribbean Cruise on the fabulous i fn Love Boat . . . and she says that is just what it is . . . . FABULOUS. Rita said she thought she would get time for some catch-up- s on her nails and facials and fun things like that while she was basking, but there just wasnT time. There was sometfSftg'' every minute, like leaning a new dance step, shows, all kinds of entertainment, jogging and fun things that you just couldnt miss out on. She highly recommends it to one and all. Her traveling companions were 0. June Franch of San Diego, Calif, and Ann Clark of Phoenix, Ariz. The following weekend, the Cranstons enjoyed the visit of Ritas brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. John Zamiska of San Diego, Calif. Thad and Valna Wasden spent Thursday, Friday and Saturday of last week at a Justice of the Peace Lunch Menu 529-986- 3 Seminar at the Ramada Inn in Salt Lake City. On this occasion, we may recall memories of mothers who are gone, send loving messages to mothers too far away to visit, and make happier and more cheerful the lives of those who are near. The badge of the day is the white carnation, emblem of purity and enduring fidelity and love.
