They visited overnight with Mrs. Rasmussens parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Peterson. Saturday, they visited Mr. Rasmussens brothers and sisters. They returned home Saturday evening. Mrs. Arthur Forslund and daughter, Mrs. Lois Jensen, of Salt Lake, visited Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Peterson. Mrs. Forslund is Mr. Petersons sister. They brought Mrs. Selda Payne home from Salt Lake, where she has been visiting for the past two weeks. She visited the Petersons also. Mrs. Forslund and her daughter returned home Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Sammy Jorgensen, of Salina, and Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Peterson, parents of Mrs. Jorgenson, flew to Milwaukee to visit Mr. and Mrs. Dee Olsen and family. Mrs. Olsen is Mr. Petersons daughter. While there, Mr. Olsen drove Mr. and Mrs. Jorgensen, Mr. and Mrs. Peterson, and Mr. and Mrs. Olsen to Nauvoo. The visit there and back took three days. They visited the new L.D.S. Visiting Center, a beautiful building, where nearby is the Monument to Women. They visited the new temple site, a beautiful memorial to the Nauvoo Temple. While in Nauvoo, they were privileged to stay in the home of Willard Richards. They visited the Carthage Jail. Returning to Milwaukee, they attended a between the Milwaukee Brewers and the Baltimore Orioles. It was an exciting game. They left Milwaukee the morning of the 14th. Mr. and Mrs. Royce Jorgensen met the plane and drove them to his home. They visited with them and then drove home that afternoon. Mrs. Peterson remained in Salt Lake with her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Rasmussen. She had two medical appointments to keep. She arrived home Monday, the 18th. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Miller and baby Dawn spent a vacation in Florida. They visited at the home of Lynns sister, Lorraine Hendrix, and husband, Larry, and two children, Brandi and Brett, of Key Largo, Fla. They enjoyed the sights of Parrot Jungle in Miami and Theatre of the Sea in Key Largo. Both families spent three days in Central Ocala, Fla. and visited Ocala National Forest and Silver Springs, Fla. Bobs brother, of Hollywood, Fla., Frank Miller, and wife Carol, spent two days in Key Largo getting acquainted with their new niece, Dawn. ballgame two-wee- k Two babies were named and blessed in Testimony meeting Sunday. The baby son of Mr. and Mrs. Loran J. Barnes was named Scott Eugene by his father. The baby son of Mr. and Mrs. David Bretz was given the name Russel Edgar by his grandfather, Ralph Jones. Gilbert Watters had surgery on his knee at the Utah Valley Hospital Sept. 7. He was released Wednesday, Sept. 20. Mrs. Watters was with him most of the time he was hospitalized. Rose Sorenson, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Sorenson, Mrs. Emma Jensen and Mrs. Dora Weller visited in Mayfield Sunday with their sister and brother-in-laMr. and Mrs. Claude Gregger-son- . Wilson, Riverton, were visiting Mr. and Mrs. Russel Wilson and family over the weekend. The men are brothers. Gordon and Jeraldine Hobbs, Norwalk, Calif., came Friday and stayed overnight with her mother, Mrs. Nora Hansen. Saturday afternoon, they attended Gordons high school class reunion in Nephi, and that evening, they attended a Nephi and dinner homecoming program. They went on to Provo and stayed Saturday night with his father, Floyd G. Hobbs. Kenneth and Elma Frandsen, of Leeds, Utah, visited Nora Hansen Saturday afternoon. John Tomlinson and wife, Bonnie Jean, and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Barrett and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley attended the Utah Barrett Retail Grocers Assn. 74th annual convention Sept. 17 19 in Las Vegas. Sunday, they attended a testimonial in honor of Nelson Hafen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Hafen, who is leaving for a mission in London, England. Nelson is a grandson of Mrs. liar-war- Salina, has received an L.D.S. mission call to the Okayama, Japan mission. He will enter the Language Training Mission Oct. 12.
