According to a Layton Police report all five suspects got out of the car and demanded personal property from the young men When the men refused, one of the suspects pulled out a handgun, cocked it and pointed it at the group. After making off with wallets, a watch, a coat and a number of Peter Piper game tokens, five suspects sped off in their vehicle. Police reported the victims managed to get into their own car and follow the suspects while contacting police using a cellular phone The suspects car was pulled over by police on Interstate 15 near Sunset. Arrested were four males and one female ranging from ages 18 to 21. All five suspects have been booked into the Davis County Jail on suspicion of aggravated felony. robbery, a - The body of a Layton man who worked for the Salt Lake Organizing Committee was found Thursday in his car parked in a Salt Lake City neighborhood James Christiansen, 39, manager of SLOCs store where Olympic pins and other merchandise is sold, disappeared Sept. 13 about 11pm. when he closed up a SLOC exhibit trailer at the Utah State Fair m Salt Lake City. Layton Detective Sgt Bob Price said Christiansen was reported missing by his wife, Dina, on Sept. 15. A man who saw news reports of Christiansens disappearance noticed a car matching the description of Christiansens - a SLOC white 1998 Chevy Suburban - in the neighborhood and called police. Officers found the body in the back seat of the Suburban, said Lt. Sam Hemingway, adding that Christiansen appeared to have been dead for some time. Police are treating the case as a suspicious death and the body has been taken to the medical examiner for an autopsy. Well have to see from there what the autopsy shows," Hemingway said. There were no apparent signs of injury on the body, he said. Christiansen had worked for SLOC for about two months. Christiansens wife was seven months pregnant, and his disappearance apparently initiated the d premature delivery of a baby. LAYTON FARMINGTON - A murder suspect has been brought back to Utah from Seattle to face the charge that he son in Ockilled his tober 1997. Brandon Holloman appeared in 2nd District Court Monday, Sept. 21, for the first time since his flight from the law last month. Police said both Holloman and his wife were suspects m the boys slaying. But recent evidence pointed to the father as the prime suspect, which prompted Holloman to flee the state. He was charged with murder Aug. 21. Holloman was picked up by security at an airport in Seattle on Sept. 13 for sleeping there. A background check revealed a warrant was out for his arrest. On Oct. 18, 1997, both Holloman and his wife rushed their son, Jalen Holloman, to a local clinic with massive brain damage. Jalen died at Primary Children's Hospital the next day. Autopsy results showed that Jalen had been subjected to trauma to his head, by someone either slamming him against a wall or by hitting him m the head with a blunt object.
