Tanks are located on the northeast corner of the site, surrounded to the north and west by single family homes. However, officials say that antennas are not the going to be a detriment to the area and are actually less intrusive than constructing a new tall pole for the antennas. One will be located on the south side of the south water tank, while the other will be on the north side of the north tank. U S West will house its equipment in a fenced area between the two tanks. Placement of antennas in the residential area required a conditional use permit.
