The dance company has John Borski as guest choreographer. The program is under the direction of instructor Kimberly King. The program is a tribute to those who have the HIV virus and AIDS. About 20 dancers will express the troubles and trials of these people through movement. The program will be staged in the Davis High Auditorium. Tickets are S3 for students and $4 for adults. They may be purchased from a member of the dance company or at the door. Mother of Year essay contest open By SUSAN TANNER HOLMES Standard-Examin- correspondent FARMINGTON - Cities throughout Davis County will be picking the best essays from schoolchildren who are entering the 1998 Mother of the Year Essay contest. Students are asked to include in their essay the traits of trustworthiness, fairness, respect, responsibility, caring, courage, endurance, andor citizenship that their mother portrays, said Lenore Robbins, chairwoman of the contest. The deadline for submission of the essays to the youths resident city is April 27. Winners will be chosen by the cities by April 30. We will be honoring the mothers at a luncheon on May 8. Each city may also present their own award to their chosen mom, " said Robbins.
