OUT ri ' f1 ' Bids awarded for street work LAYTON - The city council approved bid awards for two construction companies for upcoming sidewalk and street improvements. i The city will pay $64,740 to Bouchard Construction Company for construction of Whitesides area street, sidewalk and irrigation improvements. The area from Gentile Street to about 31S South has been a concern for parents and pedestrians walking m the neighborhood near Whitesides Elementary School, Councilwoman Debra Ledkins said at Thursdays meeting, pushing for the much-neede- d work.
