Are taking a date out to dinner or to a movie? Try putting some excitement back into those dates. About two dozen people attended a class T uesday evening to learn just how to do just that. We only get out of dating what we put into it, said instruc-- 1 tor Donna Egan, who has a de- -, gree in family sciences and teaches classes on families. The dating class was sponsored by the Family Enrichment Center of the Davis School District. Of the group there were very few singles. Mostly married people wanted to learn how to put more spice into their lives. Im tired of going to dinner after 10 years of marriage, said one woman. Marriage without dating is blah, Egan said. Answers varied from getting to know each other because they like them to wanting to spend time with each other. ' Eighty-fiv- e percent of men ask a girl if she has already shown an interest in them. They do it because the girl has already said yes to a date, Egan ex- 'plained. They know that she will go before asking, because being turned down sucks, said Mark Collett, who attended the class with his wife Linda. It is your responsibility to 'show interest, Egan told the females in the class. Touching shows you are interested in him. One of the best ways is to touch his elbow. The elbows and the ' knees are erogenous zones. A key factor in getting asked out on a date is your appearance. Your dress can be a factor, but more important is your mood or the smile on your face. Sometimes you are just tired when your husband asks you out. But a smile can make a difference. A smile makes the difference in your energy level," Egan said. If you want to date, animate. Who wants to go out with someone who is boring? Be excited. When someone is pleased with somebody else, their pupils dilate, she said. Geographical space also represents social space.
