Jennifer Bodine, daughter of Scott and Nancy Bodine, has been named a student of the month by the Layton Area Chamber of Commerce. A senior at Northridge High, she has a gaining a better and under- standing of the people and the V world around me. .... - MILITARY Awesome Greek Armies was the title of Michael Newbolds display. He made several examples of war artillery. I was looking around to see what armies there were and they were awesome, Michael explained. He told of mirrors that were placed along the sea shore to bum up the ships. A drawing of a Boetian blaster illustrated how the men would squeeze the billows to make it work. Michael went along with the thematic process and made a working catapult for his science project which was also used aS one of the weapons. Some of the students, like Brooke Ferguson, made Greek foods for the visitors to taste. Nate Weir made a display which included examples of Utah's Greek columns.
