Show Where to Register Students may register in the Life Span Learning Conference Center, Rm 102, on the Utah State University campus in Logan, Utah; write to Independent Study, Utah State University, Logan, or call (801) Utah, 84322-5000; 750-201- 4. Books and Supplies Books may be purchased through the USU bookstore in the Independent Study section or from any other convenient source. Examinations i Independent Study ; i LSLP Independent Study may be used for personal enrichment, for teacher recertification, toward University graduation (maximum 45 hours), to improve salary status, to increase employment opportunities, and to better professional position. University students may use Independent Study to supplement their campus courses. Who May Register Admission to USU is not required for enrollment in LSLP Independent Study courses, and registration may take place at any time during the year. An applicant must be at least 19 years old or a high school graduate. (High school students can register for equivalent high school courses.) Registration Fees The enrollment fee for any USU Life Span Learning Independent resident Study courses is $35 per credit. This fee must be paid by and nonresident students. Independent Study registration fees are fees paid for campus separate from and in addition to registration courses.
