The public is invited to an open house Thursday from 7:30 to 9 p.m. to view the exhibit and to hear the music of Catherine Palmer on the flute; Joel Passey, a cellist; and Kathy Skidmore, pianist. The artist, who lives in Utah, says he gets his ideas from people around him. Christensen has been commissioned by Time-Lif- e books to do paintings for its Enchanted World series, a series of books for children on make-beliecreatures. He has done illustrations for the Folger Shakespeare Memorial Library in Washington, D.C. and for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. The museum is open from p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Registration is also being taken for kenpo karate classes, which, will be held on Thursdays from Sept. 24 through Oct. 22 from 7 p.m. at the Clinton Community Center. Registration for the class is $15 and must be paid at the time of registration. Register at the Clinton city offices, 1906 W. 1800 North of call 8 for more information. Recre- ation will offer classes in hunter education and karate. Hunter education will be offered at the Clinton Community Center on Wednesdays beginning Oct. 7 p.m. Final through 28 from exam and range dates will be announced at a later date.
