Standard Examiner correspondent When Gunn, who is from Sunset, is at home with his family, he enjoys teaching his four children some magic tricks. He also shares his talent with friends, schools and Scouts in St. Marys, Ga., where he is current- Kent F. Gunn has entertained people with magic tricks since he was 7 years old. "But performing on a submarine has certain advantages over doing a show on land. The audience can't get away from you when youre under water. Theyre not just a captive audience, theyre a captured audience," he said. Gunn is an electronics technician and chief petty officer for the submarines reactor controls division. He spends most of his time while at sea supervising the technicians who monitor and control the nuclear reaction of the submarine. Clinton City Police The Clinton Police Department responded to approximately 20 calls from Thursday, April 30 to Thursday, May 7. A bicycle valued at S100 was reported stolen from a residence on 2800 West on May 1. An assault was reported at a school bus stop on 1800 North May 1 after several juveniles get'ing off the bus began fighting. The manager of the Country Crossing Apartments reported someone driving a large water tank apparently stole some water from the apartment complex on May 1. On May 4, a resident on 1600 North reported the theft of a bicycle vaued at S150. A BMX bicycle was found May 7 on 2400 North. On May 6, a pair of Roilerblades were found the Clinton Park. On May 8, a resident on 2700 West reported a dog running at large apparently chewed up a pair of work boots that were on the porch. in Farmington City Police The Farmington Police Department responded to approximately 210 calls trom Thursday, April 30, to Thursday, Mav 7. Kaysville City Police The KavsviNe Police Department responded to approximately 90 calls from Thursday, April 30 to Thursday, May 7. A car stereo valued at $179 was reported stolen from a Chevy pickup parked on 30 West on May 5. On May 6 a Motorola car phone valued at $600 was stolen from a 1991 Olds on 900 East. Someone entered a locked trunk with a set of car keys left on the front seat of a vehicle parked on 900 East, and took a pair of Roller-blad- es valued at S250 May 6. A stereo, radar detector, wallet and day planner was reported stolen May 5 from a vehicle parked on 200 East. The items were later found by several juveniles underneath some bushes; however, a radar detector, $25 in cash, and several credit cards were missing. On Mav 5, a resident on 600 North reported her purse was stolen from her vehicle. The purse and several items were found scattered in the road nearby but $60 in cash, two credit cards, and a driver's license were missing.
