Boy Scout troops are being organized by the Layton Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8307. The VFW post will form a Cub Scout pack. Scout troop and a Tiger Cub group. Boys from 6 years of age are eligible to join one of the groups. Tiger Cubs, which are 6 years of age, will begin in May. Boys 8 through 10 are the Cub Scout age and Scouts are 1 years old. Parents are encouraged to help with the troop their boys are involved with. A Scout master is needed as are other leaders.
