Daniel Boren Shane Gonzalez Roy names top scholars ROY Roy High School has released the names of Sterling Scholar nominees. They are the following: General Daniel Boren, son of Lenn J. and Marie Boren of 2411 W. 4900 S., Roy. Boren is an officer in the German Club, histonan of the Key Club, an officer in the Science Club, a member of the National Honor Society, and on the Roy Youth City Council. He has been a a delegate to Model United Nations and a member of the Junior Engineering Society. Boren plays the piano and the viola and has been involved with church sports and Janica Burnett, English daughter of Debbie and Marc Mandez of 4884 S. 2875 W., Roy. Burnett is currently holding the office of senior class secretary, secretary of the National-Hono- r Society, secretary of DECA, vice president of PTSA, and involved in debate and church activities.
