Show For and about students and young adults Fa 8B Wednesday November 9, 1983 ' to High present I i'V It LAYTON The Layton High Drama Department opens Thursday in the Little Theater a sparkling- comedy by Neil Simon called Fools. The cast is mostly a very experienced crew who have worked in many other Layton High productions, said drama instructor Ron Peterseon, who is the plays producer at LHS. The lead is played by a newcomer to Layton High theater, Trent Warner. He is accompanied by veteran character actors Debbie Winegar, Jeni Carver, Rusty Petersen, Todd Singleton, Paige Hunter,' Kathryn Jacobs, Leonard Childers, Matt Piper, and Brent Iverson. Peterson said the play is a romantic comdey that makes a beautiful satire on education and leaves the viewer with a warmer definition of real love. It takes place in 18th century Russia where a little village has been cursed for 200 years with total stupidity. The action of the various characters in this type of environment show Neil Simon at his best, said Petersen. The play runs Nov. 10, 11, 12 and 14 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets at the door are $2 per adult and $1 for students. 4 -- ;- v f J v: . vijF v . h: ' I v w f !
