With the price of groceries so high, older people who live alone and on fixed incomes will appreciate a basket of their favorite items. Include small cans of tuna, salmon, ham, vegetables, fruit, instant coffee or tea, tea bags, cook-- . ies, crackers, soup mixes. For the men, shaving cream, after shave lotion, and razors, attractively wrapped, are enjoyed. Other items for both sexes include, deodorant, dental products, combs and brushes. If you live far away, contact a church or organization close to the nursing home and place your loved ones name on its visiting list.
