The term on everyones lips in Kaysville is KAYSVILLE and that almost summed up Friday nights game between the Davis Darts self-destru- ct, and East High Leopards. Fortunately, the Darts were playing an East club that isnt used to winning and Davis was able to use their winning tradition to take a slim 12-- 7 victory. The win, coupled with Highlands win over Bountiful, relegates the Darts to second place in Region 4, but guarantees them a home stand in the playoffs against Alta. The game will be played in Kaysville at 3:45 Friday. The first half was filled with errors and turnovers. On Davis first play of the game quarterback Reed Secrist threw an interception giving East the ball on their own 45. And thats how the first half went. Neither team could gain any momentum or take advantage of the others misfortune. Early in the second quarter East defensive back Mark Holmstrom picked off another Secrist pass giving the Leopards the ball on Davis 48.
