Sampson Cecel Ora Byrne Browning Sampson, 87, of 85 Crest-woo- d Rd., died Tuesday, Jan. 28 1986, at the McKay-De- e Hospital in Ogden of causes incident to age. She was born. July 9, 1898, in Burton, Idaho, a daughter of William and Maria Terry Byrne. She married Guy Browning Oct. 5, 1916, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, they were later divorced. She married Dent Sampson in 1949. He later died. She had been a seamstress and instructor at the Singer Sewing Center. She had lived In Burton, Rexburg, and Idaho Falls, Idaho. She moved to Ogden In 1948 where she lived until moving to Kaysville in 1977. She was a member of the LDS Church where she had served as Primary president. Surviving are one son and two daughters, Guy Duane Browning, Iona, Idaho; Mrs. Dee (Wanda) Hammond, LaCenter, Wash ; Mrs. Jerry (Carma) Jacobs, Kaysville; 14 grandchildren and 23 Also surviving is a sister, Edna Watts, St. Anthony, Idaho. She was preceded in death by two daughters and one grandson. Funeral services were held Saturday at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 KAYSVILLE N Main. Interment In Uintah Cemetery Dale Wiseman LAYTON Dale Wiseman, 63, of 301 N. Main, died Monday, Feb. 3, 1986, at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake of heart failure. He was born Nov. 26, 1922 in Salt Lake City, a son of Hyrum and Susan King Wiseman He married Mary Jeanne Oler July 24, 1954 in Lincoln, Neb He was retired from Hill Air Force Base. He was reared in Ogden. He had lived in Nebraska and had lived in Lay-to- n for the past 13 years. 5C AUTO ACCIDENTS Also surviving are two sisters, Nellie Blackfoot, Idaho; Mary R Gentry, Los Lunas, N M ; one stepsister, Virgims G Herring, Eagle Pass, He attended Ogden public schools and Ogden High School where he was pitcher on the Ogden High School Baseball Team. He was a member o the Layton 4th LDS Ward. He was an active bowler in the Ogden league and area for many years. . He was a veteran of World War II and had served with the India Theatre serving with the U S. Army. Surviving are his widow of Layton; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters. Roy, died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 1986, at his home of leukemia He was born Sept. 18, 1979, in New Briton, Conn., a son of Richard William and Susan Ciarlone Myers. He was a member of the Roy LDS 5th Ward. Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Susan and Michael G. Smith, Roy; a sister. She was born May 18, 1921, in Thatcher, Ariz., a daughter of Austin and Mary Maude Summers Rollo. She married Ralph S. Gardner on Jan. 25, 1940, In Bisbee, Arizona. The marriage was later solemnized In the Mesa LDS Temple. She had lived in many locations and had traveled extensively. She was a member of the Layton 23rd LDS Ward. She had held many positions in the church including Primary president, stake dance director and worked In the genealogy extraction program.
