Cleveland will have the distinction of being the first in the long history of the Utah AFA to be elected for a second time to the presidency. He first served in that office in 1970. . In addition to terms as president of the UTE and Gold Card Chapters, he has also performed in many other state offices including that of first for the past year. Cleveland has been employed at Hill AFB for over 26 years. He and his wife and five children reside in Ogden. At a business meeting during their 30th annual state convention, held Aug. 3 at Prospector Square in Park City, the membership also elected other members to the executive board. Marcus C. Williams, of Martin-Marietta in Clearfield, will be first Major Glenn M. Lusk, USAF retired, of Roy, will be second and ,Dr. LeRoy A. Gibson, (Lt. Col, USAF, retired), of Provo, current .president of the Salt Lake Chapter, will be third Danette Casey, from Rockwell in Clearfield, will be secretary; Dick 6. HARRY CLEVELAND Salt Lake City, will be judge advocate. Reelected as directors are Bruce F. Hampel of the Missile and Aircraft Systems Division at Hill AFB; CWO George W. Jen- 2-- son (retired) of Sunset; retired Major General Chesley G. Peterson, of Ogden; William H. Schilling of Farmington, with TRW at Hill AFB; and June Wallin of Ogden, a past president of the Rocky Mountain Chapter. Newly elected as a director was Carol Matteson of Clearfield, with General Dynamics of Ogden, and current president of the Rocky Mountain Chapter. National AFA directors, who are also voting members of the Utah AFA Executive Committee are retired Colonel Nathan H. Mazer of Roy; Jack C. Price, Deputy Director of Distribution at Hill vice-preside- vice-preside- vice-preside- Hendrickson, of the Accounting and Finance Branch at Hill AFB and a resident of Kaysville, will be treasurer; and, Colonel Lester E. Roy City awarded the project to Robert Shaw Construction Com ration, Ogden, announced the outstanding results of the recent Sixth Annual AFA Charity Golf Tournament. A check for the proceeds of $12,700 was made to Cleveland.
