FFA members from five county members high schools and were invited to the Junior Livestock Show held at Davis High under the direction of agriculture teacher Darrell Love, a teacher at Davis High. Love said the purpose of the show was to teach the young people how to fit or properly groom their livestock for show. He has been a teacher for 36 years and it is more than second nature to him now, he says. Seniors Awarded Manager Scholarships The Stevens-HenagCollege of Business has awarded three Roy High School seniors, Cindy Folkman, Melinda Nielsen and Jill Savoie, and one Layton High senior, Arleen Ralls, academic scholarships worth $5,460 each.
