Mrs. Thelma Butler and her granddaughter, Pam Angus accompanied her daughter, Mrs. Barbara Jensen and four children from Goshen to Salt Lake Tuesday. They went shopping and had lunch at noon. Mr. Ray Huish and his sister Lenora Huish were very happy with a surprise visit from their nephew and family Wednesday, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Huber and seven children from Mesa, Arizona. They were on a two week vacation trip to California and Utah. They had first gone into Calif, and visited at Riverside and coming to Utah they had visited with Mrs. Hubers parents for several days. When they stopped for a short visit with their uncle they were enroute to Provo to visit Mrs. Hubers sister. From Provo they were going into Salt Lake for a visit in .that area and were going home from there. Visiting recently with Mr. and Mrs. Don Lankford for ten days were Mrs. Lankfords brother, Bob Goodsell, his wife Daisy and two daughters, sixteen year old Cheryl and four year old Joan from Paradise, Calif. Mrs. Lankford had not seen each other for two years and they had a very happy time visiting together. Pamela Angus from Calif, who is visiting at the home of her grandparents was an over night guest at the home of her cousin, Dana Jensen Wednesday night at Goshen Dana came home with Pamela on Thursday and stayed over night with her cousin at their grandparents home, Mr. and Mrs. Elvon Butler. Pamela Angus and Dana Jensen visited for a while Thursday afternoon at the home of tliir aunt, Lenora Huish. Mr. and Mrs. Don Lankford and children enjoyed a vacation trip from Saturday after noon until Tuesday in Idaho. They visited with friends, Mr. andMrs.ShermMecham and family at Firth, Idaho, and also called on other friends. Mr. Mecham is head football coach there. While in Idaho they visited place of interest, a ghost town, went to a rodeo and the children were happy to ride in the parade. Going to Idaho Falls they visited with her aunt and uncle. On the way home they stopped at Logan where Mrs. Lankford visited the home where her grandparents lived and were she often visited when she was a child. The new owners let Mrs. Lankford and her young son visit around the grounds and also invited them in to see the house, which has all been changed some. Mrs. Lankford also visited the Adams Park and Adams School where she had attended school. Mrs. Leon Jensen and family from Goshen visited at the home of her mother, Mrs. Thelma Butler on Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Butler are welcoming a new arrival, a lovely seven pound baby daughter into their home. The little miss was born Sunday morning, August 9 at the Payson HospitaL She has a big sister and three brothers who are happy to have a baby sister. Mr. and Mrs. Mike Cowan spent from Friday night until Sunday night, August 7 to 9 at Avintaguin Park, located at the head of Indian Canyon attending a three day family reunion of the descendants of Alexander Cowan. Their children, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cowan from Murray, Mr. and Mrs. Johan from Granger and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Searle from Salem and their families attended the reunion only one day each with Mr. and Mrs, Cowan. Mr. Ray Huish and Miss Lenora Huish were very happily surprised when their nephew, Jay Butler, his wife Marilyn, their two sons Greg and Douglas and Mrs. Butlers sister Gwendolyn Cook from West Covina, Calif, visited with them on Wednesday and were guests for dinner.
