Show s Maturation The Maturation Committee of the Nebo School District met in session recently at the' district office with Boyd Goodrich, chairman, presiding. Minutes of the previous meeting were read by Aylene Christensen, secretary. The following thought, A Wise Point of View was promoted from Unit 10 of the Physical and Emotional Understanding of Sex from the Senior High School Health Guide adopted for study by the Utah State Department of Public Instruction. It states: We help the child to see that to us sex is not something dirty; rather it is part of Gods great plan of life. We try to remove the dirt from the childs mind and to replace it by a feeling of wonder and reverance. Because the better job we do in building ideals about sex in terms of love and marriage, the better chance we have of protecting our child from the problems arising from the misuse and misunderstandings of sex. Moore, formerly of Payson, has accepted a position as city manager of Coventry, Conn., a suburb of Hartford, Conn., with a population of 8,509. Mr. Moore is leaving a position as administrative assistant to the city manager of Peoria, I1L, which has a population of 136,000 a position he has held since 1967, with a considerable increase in salary. A son of Mr. and Mrs. J. B.
