I PKon lenon Huiih Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Peay accompanied Mrs. Inez Peters by their sister-in-lafrom Salt Lake, recently spent Saturday and Sunday at Elko, Nevada visiting with Mrs. Peays sister, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn 46S-163- Overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Cowan Thursday night were their daughter, Zola, her husband, Johan Van Zeben, and children from Granger. Friday morning after visiting the Payson Cemetery they and Mr. Cowan went fishing at Scofield where they spent Friday, Memorial Day, and Saturday. Smith and family. Mrs. Frank Griffith spent several days at the home of her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Olson and family at Riverton, helping with the older children when Mrs. Olson came home from the hospital with a new baby son. She was happy to get acquainted with the new baby. Mr. and Mrs. Cowan were overnight guests of their son, Frank, and daughter-in-laEvelyn Cowan and children at Murray. They attended Priesthood meeting Sunday morning at the Murray 10th Ward with the family. Mr. Cowan had the privilege of ordaining his son, Frank, an Elder. They also visited with their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Johan Van Zeben and family, and Mrs. Cowans sister, LaRae Butler. They brought their neice, Mrs. Sharon Hurst, and baby son, who had been visiting with LaRae Butler, to her home at Payson. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Peay met her sister, Mrs. Lynn (Mildred) Smith and daughters, Jill and Pam.and her married w, 1 Former Spring Lake residents, Mr. and Mrs. Verald Spainhower, from Milford and their son, Tommy Spainhower, from Salt Lake who met his parents at Payson visited the Payson Cemetery on Memorial Day to decorate the family graves. While there they visited with relatives and friends. They went to Salt Lake to visit with their son before going back to Milford. Mr. Arthur Sadler from Salt Lake visited on the weekend and for Several days with his daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Neil Kitteridge and family. He came to attend the graduation of his grandson, Randy Kitteridge, who was graduated from Payson High School. Mr. Sadler also visited with his brother, Mr. and Mrs. Hector Sadler, and with Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Mower. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Draper (Judy Peay) and two children, Michelle and baby, Todd, from Las Vegas, Nev. arrived in Utah on Friday to spend the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. LuRay Draper of Genola and with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Peay. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Haws (Nelda Cowan) and children from Richfield, Idaho who arrived here Friday evening visited with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Cowan Saturday and Sunday. They came for the Memorial Day weekend to decorate the graves of their families at Lehi, Provo and Payson. Mrs. Genevieve Carling from Provo visited at the home of an aunt, Mrs. Cecil S. Peery Sunday afternoon. They checked on some genealogical family records. She also made a brief visit at the home of an uncle, Ray Huish. Mrs. Kay Cook and daughter, Donna, from Goshen visited with her mother, Mrs. Fanny V. Butler, Saturday morning. Mr. and Vrs. Jay Butler from West Covina, Calif, who were spending a few days of his vacation in Utah, accompanied by his mother, Mrs. Fanny V, Butler, called in at the home of his uncle, Ray Huish and aunt, Lenora Huish, Monday afternoon for a brief visit before going on t to Kearns where they were bouse guests of his sister, Miss LaRae Butler. , Tuesday night members of the Fanny V. Butler family met at the home of her daughter, Miss LaRae Butler, at Kearns for a family party in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Butler. Going from here were Mr. and Mrs. Mike Cowan and her mother, Mrs. Fanny V. Butler, Mr. and Mrs. Elvon Butler, Lenora Huish and Ray Huish. Others present were Mrs. Kay (Darthella) Cook from Goshen; Mr. and Mrs. Noal H. Butler, Salt Lake; Miss LaRae Butler; the honored couple and Mr. and Mrs. Don Butler who are on leave from the Coast Guard and were visiting his mother, Mrs. Ardella Butler; his sisters and brothers at Salt Lake and her mother at Heber. All those present enjoyed a buffet supper and family association. Jay and his wife left Wednesday morning to return home to West Covina. ON HIS DAY this year. While there they visited with Mrs. Ila Spainhower; her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Arlin Adamson, and family and Mrs. Clara Lindstrom, all from American Fork. Friday afternoon, Mr. and Mrs. Elvon Butler visited the Springville Cemetery to decorate the family graves there. Later they went to the home of her sister Mr. and Mrs. Ray Lofgran at Springville to join with her brothers and sisters for a family gathering. v Others present were Mr. and Mrs. Vernal Twede, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bigler and Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Jensen from Payson; Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Durfey and Mrs. Art Kinder (Hilda) from Las Vegas, Nevada who were visiting with relatives Payson, Utah CHRONICLE 3 Thursday, June 5, 1969 over ' the Memorial weekend, and Mr. and Mrs. Art Twede from Salt Lake. They enjoyed a chicken supper and visiting together. Mrs. Cynthia T. Carter from Salt Lake who came to decorate the family graves in the Payson Cemetery on Memorial Day visited with her sister and brother-in-laMr. and Mrs. Eldred Fisher. She stayed for several days with her sister to help out in the home and take care of Mrs. Fisher who had just returned home from the Payson Hospital w, where she underwent surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Revel and two dau- ghters returned recently from a weeks visit in California. They went for the wedding of his daughter and to attend the wedding reception. They enjoyed visiting with his and her relatives. Mrs. Revels sister accompanied them home and was a house guest at the Revel home. Archer Butler from Salt Lake, who came for Memorial Day to visit the to decorate family Payson Cemetery graves, visited with his sister, Mr. and Mrs. Hector Saddler for several days. Mrs. Inev Peters who was a house guest of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Peay over the weekend attended Sunday School and Meeting with Mrs. Peay on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Draper and two children from Las Vegas, Nev., attended Sacrament Meeting with her mother, Mrs. Gilbert Peay. They enjoyed Sunday dinner with her parents and then left later in the afternoon to teturn home. Ronald Nelson and family from and Mr. and Mrs. Ted Oborn and children from Salt Lake visited at the home of an aunt, Mrs. J. Everett Nelson on Memorial Day. They took her to the Payson Cemetery where they decorated the family graves. Afterwards they went to the Salem Park and enjoyed a chicken picnic dinner and visited together. Mr. Tooele Mrs. J. Everett Nelson recently accompanied friends, Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Farrer from Bountiful on a weeks trip to Arizona. They visited in St. George, Kingman going sight seeing in some of the places. At Mesa they visited with Mrs. Farrers uncle. They also visited through Flagstaff and Page. On the way home they visited relatives at Richfield. Parkers Lake, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Mower accompanied by Mrs. J.
