Gerald attended Camp.s Education Week at BYU. One of the social functions enjoyed by the family was a delightful outdoor birthday party in honor of Vernon Finch held at his home on Tuesday evening with 31 Mr. and Mrs. Carl Schramm, Mr. and Mis. Glade Schramm, Mr. and Mrs. Dowell Reed Schram n and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Francom went to the Salt Lake Temple on Friday. Chris Richards from Salt Lake City is spending the summer at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Larson. on Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kenison and family enjoyed a family picnic and outing at Saratoga in honor of Dale Kenison who leaves for Fort Bliss, Texas Monday. Henson of Provo, lights the fuse, with Claudius E. Stevenson, Payson, county treasure, Nina Reid, Springville, county secretary, and Merlene Baily, Provo, county looking on. Republican Party Launch 3rd Annual Drive Republican party volunteers will launch their third annual Neighbor to Neighbor drive starting this week, in Utah County, with over 1,000 block workers calling on their neighbors in the communities and voting districts where they live, as a prelude to the 1968 campaign year. The N.T.N. campaign, as it has become known, is the Republican partys major fund raising event, it is conducted throughout the state by the individual county units under the direction of state and county finance committees. Voting district chairman and treasurers, acting as part of the county finance committee, have recruited block workers who will canvass families in their district between June 11 and July 8. Each volunteer is assigned to contact approximately 15 persons. In Utah County there are nine Republican precincts and 142 voting KNOCK. A producer eleigible to file such an application is one with a farm for which no weat allotment has been established and for which neither the owner nor the operator has an interest in the wheat allotment on any other farm, who has available land and adequate equipment and facilities for the ' FULL COT UO' successful production of a wheat crop on the farm, who during the last 5 years has had at least 2 years experience in producing wheat, and who as an operator expects to receive 50 percent or more of the current years income from the total production on the farm (not including the anticipated income from wheat produced on a new farm allotment) Other factors are also involved, and it is suggested that interested producers discuss the details with officials at the tSCOIFT P(LeAMUAA ASCS county office. The Chairman said that formal application for a new farm wheat allotment may be made by filing a written application at the ASCS county office prior to the July 1 deadline.
