Show The Payxon Chronicle, Payxon, Utah West Mountain News BY RUBY MEREDITH Mrs. Craig Wayman returned Monday from an eighteen day vacation to West Long Branch, New Jersey, where she visited with her mother, Mrs. Wesley Seaman, and other relatives and friends. While there she had the thrill of seeing her brother, Robert Burr, play a leading part in a Shakespearean play on Broadway. Kolleen Bishop, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Angus Bishop, enjoyed a ten day vacation to Salt Lake. She was the guest of Mr. and M rs. Niel Bishop and Miss ReNa Chamberlain, v Mr. and Mrs. Ray Stickney ol and family enjoyed a two day fishing trip to Fremont River. pre-scho- Tuesday eveningafamily of dinner was held at the home Mrs. Virgil Meredith in honor of Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Ahlstrom, who left Wednesday for their home in Whittier, Calif., after a three week vacation with relatives and friends in Utah. JULIA OLSEN PETERSON Funeral services for Mrs. 80, of Santaquin who died Friday in Huntington Park, Calif., were held Wednesday in the Stake Center under the direction of Bishop Lawrence Clayson. William McKinnon of Payson. Mr. and Mrs. Dayne Williams of Fremont, Calif., announced the arrival of their first child, a son, born August 25 at the Utah Valley Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Clinger of Salt Lake are maternal grandparents. Burial was in the Payson City Cemetery under the direction of the Keith Jolley Mortuary. step-childr- Ivan Webb, 77, died Friday at the family home, 288 S. 3rJ W., of a heart attack. He was born April 12, 1888, in Payson, the son of James H. and Anna Mae Loveless Webb. He married Lurene Haymore on Oct. 16, 1908, in Salt Lake City. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died June 7, 1944. He married Jennie Taylor step-siste- f rs, nd Hone on Dec. 2, 1944, in American Falls, Idaho. Mr. Webb was educated in ALBERT Navy during World War n. He was a member of the LDS GEORGE A. WYLER George A. (Jerry) Wyler, 44, formerly of Payson, died Sat- Payson schools. He was a member of the LDS Church. He was a farmer and carpenter by occupation, and also had worked for the Utah -- Idaho Sugar Company in Payson and Spanish Fork. Several years ago he built playground equipment and operated a free playground for Payson children on a city lot near his home. Surviving are his wife of urday in a hospital Church. He had been employed as a taxi driver, truck driver and on construction work. Survivors include his mother, Payson; two brothers, Dr. Glen Wyler, Fairfield, Calif. Wayne Wyler, who recently moved from Provo to Illinois; a sister, Mrs. Keith (Elaine) Hone, Pay-so- n. Salt Lake City after illness. alingering He was born March 9, 1921, Payson, a son of George Alfred and Mary Hanks Wyler. He married Ruth Linton of Salt Lake City in 1948 and they were in later divorced. Funeral services were held Mr. Wyler was educated in the Payson schools and was a graduate of the Payson High School. He served in the U. S. Miss Donna Seat and Miss Jai. DeHart entertained Friday night at a birthday surprise party for Billie June Erikson. A treasure hunt and lovely refreshments were enjoyed by the honored guest, the hostesses and the following girls: Brenda Rowley, Deona Jackson, Linda Tanner, Joyce Hill , Suzanne Nay and Anna Rothe.
