Rayl and family of Pleasant Grove visited with Mrs. Rayls mother, Mrs. Mary Kenison. A granddaughter of La Rie Larsen of Salt Lake spent a few days with her and with the Albert Kenison family. Mrs. Ethel Hirst spent Friday visiting with her granddaughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Wright (Karen Sutherland) of Springville, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Sutherland of Billings, Montana, were also guests. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Miller were honored at a joint birthday party Friday evening at their home. Ten guests were present. Sunday a family dinner was also held at their home. Mrs. Ruth Rothe and her sister Mrs. Betty Spencer of American Fork, attended a three day Writers Round Up" held at the Ben Lomond Hotel in Ogden. Outstanding events were the Reception held Friday night, the Award Banquet Saturday and the Poets Breakfast Sunday morning.
