Pei haps your parents told you, Now, dear reading, and lithmctjc are the most important paits of your be- nt-m- g Mmi, in and is education, ginning actually a must if you are to grow and become si.cessful in your life time. And remember you tried very hard to be a good student bi cause it was fua study the three Rs and also ' "'cause of the desiies and love anu faith of your parents. At that age you really had an urgency to learn of the world and its people. Now, it seems to me that there should always have been a 4th R to make a child well adjusted and happy from childhood on through eternity. The fourth R" should have been religion. It should have . fundamental place in the teaching of cveiy child and should in fact, become an integial patt of his very growing and living. Now sume parents think that if they send their children to School, Sunday School and Primary that their obligation is quite finished. But a child needs to feel Religion and see it in action in his home also. We cheat a child if we deprive him of this blessing! In my way of thinking this very important R should lead the list of Rs At parents knees they can be given faith and all facets of religion and its principals when they are yet too young to learn the i' other three Rs.
