Show Parents Visiting Day at the Payson Junior High School is scheduled for next Wednesday, Nov. 14th, starting at 8:30 a m. The students will be excused for the entire day. Mr. and Mrs. John Daniels and Mrs. Heber Porter left last Thursday for Council Bluffs, Iowa, where they will visit their children, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Daniels and family. Mr. and Mrs. J. Don Spainhower are announcing the marriage of their daughter, Dianne Spainhower to Jerry Kershaw', son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kershaw of Circleville. Nupital vows were repeated Oct. 19th in Bountiful. The new bride was honored Saturday night at a shower given by her mother at Spring Lake Ward Church. Flowers of the season were used in decorations. For the occasion the bride received guests wearing a blue suit. Standing with her at the door were her mother grandmother, Mrs. Cecil S. Peery, and two sisters-in-laMrs. Don Spainhower of Bountiful and Mrs. Doug Spainhower of Spanish Fork. Mrs. Jack Clark was master of ceremonies to the program, which included a vocal duet Mrs. Janice Spainhower and L. Don Spainhower, the brides father; vocal trio, Mrs. Bob Menlove, Mrs. R. N. Moore and Mrs. Milan Jacobson, accompanied by Mrs. Rhea Menlove; vocal solo, L. Don Spainhower, toast to the bride, Lenora Huish. Mrs. George LeFevre and Mrs. Elvon Butler were in charge of refreshments which were served at card tables. Each table was centered with a goblet containing a beautiful flame colored flower and a net ruffle around the bottom. Girls serving were, Jo Ann Lundell, Ja Nene Smith, Patsy Adams and Kathy Barnett Gifts were disylayed by Mrs. Leon Jensen and Mrs. Kay Cook both of Goshen. President Mrs. Keith Holman conducted a business meeting and read a letter from Principal Stanley Wilson thanking the Junior Cultus Club for the many years they sponsored the Halloween Party for the children of Payson.
