Show The Payson Chronicle, Payson, Utah THURSDAY, APRIL 6, 1961 Laurels, Ensigns name officers FOR... IHE BELL RINGS SANTAQUIN-TINTI- Listening to Pres. ElRay Christiansen in Salt Lake Temple recently I was impressed with his comment that the Temple is a University where we go to learn more about the commandments of God, and the spiritual laws, He said that these spiritual laws are just as true and irrevocable as are the physical laws governing our universe. There are none of us who would argue that if we were to jump off ten story building the law of gravity would not pull us back to the earth where we would surely receive damage from the fall 'but are we as able to see the consequences as clearly and as surely in connection with spiritual laws? Are we as Latter Day Saints (at least we should be striving to become saints) as interested in this institution of Higher Learning as we should be? As with other things its easier to start when were young and it is encouraging to see the interest young people are taking in going to the Temple A group from the Genola Ward accompanied by Morris Smith, Arlin Ewell, Max Nelson, Lola Cooper and Jennie Murdoch, attended the Manti Temple on Sat.
