Pasture Pasture composition can be managed to a large degree by kinds of fertilizers applied to the pastures.. Nitrogen affects grasses very materially and will result in high porduction of grasses while phosphorous is equally effective on the legumes or clovers. The phosphorous can be applied in the fall or early spring and will be available as needed. The nitrogen should be applied just shortly before the effect on the grasses is desired. Split application of nitrogen over the summer is desirable. Once just before growth starts or shortly after it starts, once along in the early summer and once in the late summer, irrigate immediately after nitrogen applications. Apply 20 to 30 pounds of nitrogen at each application. The Nebo Soil Conservation District suggest that you consider as a part of your pasture management practices, the dragging of pastures or spreading of droppings 2 or 3 times during the summer season. Rotation grazing of pasture units will also pay big dividends. $100.00 REWARD to any person or law officer for information leading to the arrest and conviction of any person or persoss unlawfully entering Payson Mill and a $50.00 Reward for information aiding to the arrest and conviction of anyone breaking windows or mulilialing Properly at Payson MilL Payson Milling Company NOW'S THE TIME TO BUY & NOTICES Evan tf water were in groat which it often is net plenty It I. still here in the Wtt good farai management to have your entire Irrigation system completely headgated.
