Gean Worthington elected chairman of the Payson Recreation Council at the first meeting of the group held Tuesday night in the city council chambers Cora Wilson was named vice chairman, Lou Dene Menlove, secretary, and Max Warner public relations chairman Eugene H. liman was named Payson City recreation director Purpose of toe council will be to direct the overall recreation progiam in Payson. They will organise and schedule various recreation activities during the summer months. These activities could include baseball, which l.a been the major recreation activity in the past, softball leagues. tennis tournament, horseshoe tournament, shuffle board, and other events to be planned.
