Because of bad weather outside we are having a dance project in the new auditorium. We are planning this entertainment for January through February. We are learning old fashioned square dances and others. Once in a while we invite other grades to dance with us. We are enjoying this dance activity very much. Next week begins our second term conferences which were scheduled last fall. This time they will be individual with each pupils parent meeting the teacher at a specified time to discuss that pupils progress, needs, and attitude. By means of these conferences we hope to, through mutual understanding and interest, know each child better and help him to function in school to the full extent of his capacity. We are surely using and enjoying our new auditorium where gemes, including boxing and wrestling, and dancing, including square dancing, are enjoyed by pupils of all grades. Every recess and noon during this cold and stormy weather all the children participated in these activities from the first graders to sixth graders.
