This years rodeo is to be built as a high class professional performance running 2Mi hours with profcsional announcer and an arena director and will be completely organized with events on a schedule time. On the night of the opening day, August 30, the queen's coronaton ball will be held at Arrowhead. At this event all of the 300 beard contest entries will parade before five lady judges. Twenty-fiv- e winners will be selected to share $100 in prizes. After th judgng, all enntestants may shave for the remainder of the celebration. However, if any of the 25 winners shave their beards before Monday they will forfleit their prizes. A new Oldsmobile 1947 Sedan will be given away Monday night, Sept. 2 at the rodeo. FINES NUMEROUS IN KANGAROO COURT The last sesion of the kangaroo court, held Saturday night, with Charley Douglass as presiding judge, resulted in fines ranging from 50c to $2.00 to twenty individuals who decided not to grow whiskers or otherwise evaded the rules and regulations. Shorty Cannon and Jesse Carter each contributed a dollar, Cannon for failure to display a hat band and Jesse Carter for impeding the course of justice, or what passes for justice in kangaroo courts.
