along the border of Mexico for 3 years Upon returning he married Sonoma Jensen in the Manti Temple on June 5 1940 He loved her dearly and made her laugh for 63 years Together they were the parents of three children LaMar and his wife served LDS missions in Mexico and Portland Oregon He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Chnst of La Saints He served as a bishop high scoutmaster councilman gospel doctrine teacher and many other positions His extended knowledge of the gospel made the youth as well as adults love to hear him teach He and his wife served as temple workers for 13 years He was very dedicated to home teaching and serving others His last few hours of life were spent bearing his testimony of the gospel in English and Spanish LaMar's zest for life and outstanding
