Saturday March 15 2003 Sharalee Willardson GearUpA Coordinator at GVMS took Sixth and Seventh grade girls to the “Expanding Your Horizons" math science and technology conference at UVSC in Orem When they arrived the girls attended workshops where they were given hands-oexperiences law science space exploration math and techwith those careers that fall into the medicalhealth nology fields GVMS girls especially enjoyed the zoology workshop where they were given the opportunity to handle snakes and take a taste of insect cuisine and prizes For everyone who Afterwards the girls were treated to
