Taylor and his son from St George visited with STan and Betty Oliver Roger came to try the elk hunt but wasn’t successful We have had some ladies in Gunnison that have had some bad accidents Ethel Duffin fell outside her house and broke her shoulder and scraped her face Laverd Larson fell while she was fishing and broke her ankle We wish them a quick recovery Our sympathy goes to the families of Rebecca Anderson and Amanda Fjeldsted Rebecca was a talented Lady who was always involved in music and plays She taught many of our children to play the piano and the organ She was a great lady Amanda was a sweet mother quiet lady a wonderful neighbor and friend grandmother She loved the church and also worked in the Daughter s of the Pioneers All of the people in the Valley will miss these
