Wool markets are faced with large stocks and low manufacturing activity. The tension has been taken off the agricultural credit situation in the past year. This gem ra! conculsion derives mainly out of two facts. One is that the trend of consumer purchasing power is slightly upward and seems to he well supported at its present level. The second is that the reduction of crop acreages and yields due to the depression and the drought has brought market supplies of many commodities so near to consumption requirements that some prices have risen, and others tire expected to rise. These are the conditions under which we will approach th first half of 193.1. The outlook for the second half of 1935 being farther removed from us in point of time, is less predictable. As regards markets, economic factors indicate at least no marked recession from present levels. Prices may be sonmwhat lower if the 1935 crop normal to above, but this are yields lower price combined with greater marketings should maintain farm income. No groat expansion of consumer purchasing power and agricultural incomes can be expected as long as unemployment remains at its present high level. Activity in the durable goods industries and building construction continues low. Neither of these adverse factors can be expected to improve materially this wintar. Because general economic conditions are expected to hold their gains, and because of the generous supply of early winter moisture, Utah farmers can look on 1935 with a much brighter face than they had a year ago. Of course, the effect of the drought will linger with those farmers hardest hit, until feed quantities notice Creditors will present claim vouchers to the undersign son, Utah County, Utah nrMore March 1, 1935, than the prices paid, with a increase in the purchasing of the farmers dollar. ower j OUTLOOK MARGAfiEl d full of Hawaiian pineapple juice.
