The theme of the meeting was Book gifts for Christmas and how to aid the city librarian in securing books. Talks on the subject were given by Mrs. Ida A. Huish, repre- senting the library; Muss Hattie the high school; Louis A. Bates grammar grades and Miss Eva Lee, primary grades. Booklets listing the finest books for Primary grades and up were distributed with the suggestion that gift books be selected from the lists.
