The action will seek to compel officers of the company to produce books and records for inspection. The state securities commission launched an investigation of the mine last summer at the conclusion of a hearing upon complaints that stock was being sold under the representation that the discoverer of the mine received divine inspiration. Scott P. Stewart, director of the securities commission, said company officials refused to submit their records for examination.
