Counselor Annie Curtis of the Relief Society presidency was in charge of the program and the welcome address was given by President Mary P. Harding. Mrs. Hazel II. Greenwood of Salt Lake was present as a representative of the general board and Other gave the principal address. speakers were Counselor Ethel Page, Mrs. Lettie Hickman of Benjamin and Mrs. Beatrice Moore of Springlake. A one act play, written by Mrs. Ida A. Huish was presented by the first ward with Lillian Pickering, Hazel Stanton, Mrs. Huish and a number of children in the cast. Special music was given by the combined choruses of the stake under the direction of Mrs. Mary Jeppson and Mrs. Ada Tay lor. An elaborate exhibit was given in connection with the convention including the anual Relief Society Power show held in connection with the flow er garden project. The upper floor of the Tabernacle was transformed into a magnificent bower of lovely summer blooms. Each of the nine wards in the stake was allotted a space and the result was nine gorgeous displays. The exhibit was left complete foi quarterly conference on Sunday. As a project to stimulate the use of Utah made products a display was made on the stand, consisting of posters from the Utah manufacturers Association, a display from the Pay-so- n Milling Company and other features. Arranged in nine seperate booths in the basement was a wonderful display of hand work, to show the work that has been accomplished in the second Tuesday busy work during the past year by the Relief Society. Beautiful quilts, rugs, pillows, vases and numerous other articles were shown.
